Delaware 302 Business Services

Are you a small business or non-profit organization struggling with your web site, or trying to understand how to use social media? Let Delaware 302 help! The company which just announced the start of its online only store of merchandise branded with the State’s singular area code in November 2011 is now launching 302 Business Solutions.

302 Business Solutions is focused on assisting First State small businesses and non-profit organizations with the web site, graphic design, social media, and public relations challenges that they face. The web site/technology side of the offshoot business will be handled by Delaware 302 owner Phil Wojcik, who has 15 years of experience in website design, hosting, computer programming, and integrated data solutions.

“I’ve found that many small businesses are struggling with technology challenges. They either want to put together a website or online store, but don’t have the technical or design know how- or they have a site and are having issues with their current website hosting provider not providing the personalized level of customer support that they need,” says Wojcik. “I’ve got the experience to be able to help them with all of these issues and more. We believe in providing individualized service to customers, not try to sell them with a one-size-fits-all product.”

Wojcik says that many small businesses and non-profits also struggle with the affordability of technology solutions. As a small business itself, Delaware 302 can offer its services at a fraction of the price the larger design houses charges. Services that 302 Business Solutions will offer on the technology side include: web site design/redesign, ecommerce solutions, website hosting options, data migration, graphic design and branding.

Social media and public relations/public information will be handled by Andrea Summers, the company’s Director of Media relations. Summers also has 15 years of experience in the media, and public information field. Starting out as a local TV news reporter in the mid-1990s, she then spent the next 12 years as a Public Information Officer, specializing in gaining positive exposure for her agency. She is in charge of all of Delaware 302’s social media outlets.

“I’ve seen many small businesses and non-profit organizations that could expand and grow their business through the use of social media, be completely confused or overwhelmed by it,” says Summers. “If you know how to use it correctly you can reach many more potential or current clients/customers than ever before. I can help these groups set up their social media tools and provide training and guidance on how to best use them. We’ve also got options for those who want to use social media but be completely hands off.”

In addition to supporting businesses with social media tactics, 302 Business solutions also offers services including press release writing and dissemination, analyzing and creating advertising buys, press event coordination and media training.

Delaware302 to Support Food Bank of Delaware This Holiday Season

Company to donate a portion of December sales

Milton – December 1, 2011 – Nearly 1 in 4 Delawareans depends on emergency food assistance according to the Food Bank of Delaware. As so many local families are in need of the basics such as food to survive, Delaware302 announces today that it will donate 20% of its sales between December 1st and December 20th to the Food Bank. In addition, the company owners intend to support the mission personally with donations of canned food items.

“There is no reason that any Delawarean should go hungry, especially at this time of the year,” said Delaware302 founder Phil Wojcik. “Even though things are tight for most everyone, if we all do a little to help, it will add up and make a huge difference in the lives of Delaware families.”

Delaware302 owners chose the Food Bank to support this month because Wojcik has volunteered there. Every month, the company will choose a local charity to support as part of its philosophy of giving locally. Even though the company website www.Delaware302.com launched less than two weeks ago, the founders wanted to start their charity work right from the start.

Delaware302.com is an online store filled with products that incorporate the State’s area code as a way to promote First State pride. These products include 302 T-shirts, 302 oval vehicle stickers and magnets, and wristbands.

Launch of New Delaware Business Promotes First State Pride

Delaware302 online store helps you wear/display your DE pride

Milton – November 19, 2011 – Are you a proud Delawarean? Whether you were born here, recently relocated or have chosen to attend one of our great First State colleges or Universities, a new online business launching this weekend offers you a variety of ways to publicly display your pride over living in the 302.

Delaware302.com is an online store filled with products that incorporate the State’s area code as a way to promote First State pride. These products include 302 T-shirts for men and 302 Girl T-shirts for ladies, 302 oval stickers and magnets to display your pride vehicles, and special wristbands. The business, launching just in time for the holiday season, is the brainchild of Sussex County residents Phil Wojcik and Andrea Summers.

After seeing his friend’s 302 tattoo which was set against the state’s background, Wojcik realized that there was a market for people, like his friend, who wanted to “represent” the First State. However, both Wojcik and Summers believe that you don’t have to be born here to show your Delaware pride.

“While I was born in Wilmington, and attended high school at Salesianum, my education and career took me from this great state for many years. I was extremely happy for the opportunity to return home. Andrea moved here 17 years ago from Maryland, and together we have fallen in love with our life here and wanted a way to share that in a way that anyone and everyone we come in contact with can see,” said Wojcik. “Delaware302.com is offering us the vehicle for not only us but for hundreds of thousands of other First State residents to do that.” Wojcik said while they’re starting with a small selection of items, they have plans to roll out new designs and new items every 1 – 2 months.

Wojcik used his computer programming background to design the website and online store, and Summers her public information background to market the site primarily via social media platforms Facebook and Twitter.

“We’re going to share unique and interesting fun facts about Delaware on these sites and want people to start sharing with us why they love Delaware,” said Summers. “We truly want to start a conversation with individuals about why this is such an amazing State in which to live.”

In an effort to promote the Facebook page and website, Summers said they’ve also launched a contest to win a Delaware302 prize pack. People can enter by sharing why they are Delaware proud and love living in the 302, and the contest will allow voting American Idol style for the best answer.

Delaware302’s owners also believe in philanthropy but more specifically giving to the local community. A portion of sales each month will be donated to the charity of their choice. The duo’s top picks are the Delaware Food Bank at which Wojcik has volunteered and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, which supported Summer’s step sister during her battle with the disease.
